Already off to a bad start

Well it seems that I am five days late already in starting this blog, but I started the new year with a cold and on a plane coming in from Michigan. By the time I got home I was ready to just sleep off the cold and not bother to start this blog. But I should explain why I am starting this blog, why it dawned on me to begin such a crazy mission of 365 days of Hello Kitty. It also came out of the challenge that my mother doesn't think that I own 365 Hello Kitty and friends items, but I tend to believe I do.

Hello Kitty is a life long obsession for me, I have had the kitty in my life since I was young. I would go into the Sanrio store and buy small things and on occasion I would get the surprise bag and see what I would come up with. The small moutless cat has always been in and around my life and while most thought I would out grow the obsession I think it has only gotten worse, I think I have only gotten more obsessed and I find that the kitty has gotten just as cosmopolitan as I have. I am glad to have her in my life and I have found that she has made it easier for me to make friends to branch out and meet people. Now I'm not saying that my friends are only Hello Kitty obsessed but I have found friends who love it just as much as I do. I don't wear Hello Kitty head to toe, but she does make it into my daily life everyday, especially since I have several Hello Kitty themed items on my keys, cell phone, and so forth. She is always there an omnipotent force. It's very simple Hello Kitty is a huge force in my life and she probably always will be, and I hope to have girls so I can give them my Hello Kitty stuff. It's as simple as that and there isn't much more I can say about this, but really to get started after being 5 days late.

I will also be keeping a video blog of my items and photographing them as well. For these past five days I will have to chunk them together but from here on I will be posting day by day, one must excuse the cold I had, which made it hard for me to concentrate. I will be posting the videos to my personal Youtube channel, which is the same as the email address I have opened for this account.
